Alright, let’s talk about the best accessories for your iPad 10. I’ve got 10 categories for us to go over, so let’s go over the list.
Before we begin, let’s go over a couple of givens that I will assume during this article.
-
Number 1: you have or at least plan on purchasing an iPad, most specifically an iPad 10.
-
And number 2: you want to find the most practical and cost-effective accessories for your tablet.
So, with that, here’s what I got.
1. Keyboards
Starting off with something that’s fairly common, tablet keyboards. As is very expected, Apple charges a hefty premium for its Magic Keyboard Folio case. Which, by all accounts, is a very rad accessory. But, man, it’s expensive.
So for those of us who don’t want to spend so much on a keyboard case, here’s an alternative: The ESR Rebound Magnetic Keyboard case. Functioning essentially the same as the Apple Magic Keyboard, the ESR Rebound is a far more cost-effective iPad keyboard case. With backlighting. And it comes with a touchpad for mouse use with the tablet.
2. Mice
And speaking of mice, the next category, mice. Right, so some applications with your iPad can be great to use with a dedicated mouse. Namely a mouse that’s easily transportable and wireless.
So, how about this low-cost, rechargeable, bluetooth one? This is a very simple accessory that doesn’t break the bank. Plus, it can be used on the go, and you won’t need to worry about breaking it. Because it’s so cheap. So, not half bad.
3. Stands
What else do I got? Well, let’s talk stands. One of the best features of an iPad is its simple ability to augment your productivity on your desk setup. Using it as a companion to your work station. And the best way to have it there is on a desk stand. That puts in comfortably within reach of your arms.
And that’s where the Twelve South HoverBar Duo comes into play. This is one of many stands I’ve come across on Amazon, but this one seems pretty cost-effective. Coming with two stands for really the price of one in some cases. These will enable you to use your iPad on any desk surface or clamp it up somewhere to make it sorta float. It’s super rad, kinda magical, and would make anyone’s desk setup, or even kitchen, look way more professional.
4. USB Hubs
And something else that would make the iPad look way more professional and be far more productive is a USB hub. Something like this product right here can turn your iPad into the ultimate productivity machine by granting yourself access to many different ports.
Now with these types of converters, you should focus on getting the most ports you can with it. Because then you’ll only need to take one USB dock with you ever. No need for different converters, and it just removes the headache of needing to transport a lot of different things. It’s really helpful to have everything you need in one little device.
5. Flash Drives
And with that said, let’s bring up one thing that most iPad don’t have, good storage. Which leads to my next section, a flash drive. This is pretty self-explanatory, but a flash drive for your iPad can really help with the low storage that many of us deal with. It’s pretty small, so very portable. And it’s not as expensive as configuring the whole iPad with more storage. So, definitely take that one into consideration.
6. Power Banks
Next, let’s talk about battery life. Now, iPads are actually pretty solid battery-wise all things considered. But even still, we all have had those moments where we forgot to charge our devices.
So, to help you out during those freak accidents, how about a low-cost power bank? Such as this Anker portable charger that’s slim and, as the name suggests, portable. But, many others can be useful as well. And will help you out when you need a quick charge.
7. Stylus Options
On top of that, let’s talk about something that’s known for being extremely useful for iPads as well, a stylus. Now, we have had some strong opinions about the Apple Pencil situation with the iPad 10. Which, if you didn’t already know, requires you to purchase an extra converter to charge it with your iPad. Since it has a different port from the Apple Pencil. Which, wow.
But, that converter is not the whole recommendation. Rather, it’s, firstly, the Apple Pencil if you’re okay with the converter situation. Or, or, or, A cheaper-ish alternative that’s not as sleek as the Apple Pencil but is still very effective, the Logitech Crayon. I’ve seen these things around college quite often, and everyone seems to find them very useful day-to-day. Moreover, they’re super common in the tech scene being a lower-cost alternative to the Apple Pencil. And, and, and, they don’t need a weird dongle for charging. They just need a Lightning Port. So, check that out if you prefer the price and charging method of the Logitech Crayon.
8. Screen Protectors
And something else you should check out with that stylus is a screen protector, specifically Paperlike, which makes the tablet’s screen feel sorta like a piece of paper with texture. So when you’re writing on the tablet, it feels a bit more natural, like you’re writing on a piece of paper. And for some people, that really helps.
Many of my friends have recommended it. And I can say that it’s pretty rad tech to use with your iPad, especially if you prefer to write with paper and pencil. It’s definitely bridge between normal writing and writing on glass, so definitely give that a shot if it’s your style.
9. Folio Cases
And now, we gotta protect the iPad a little, so let’s bring up the folio case. The folio case is a foldable cover for your tablet that you can use to prop it up or just protect the screen when you’re moving around. Apple’s is actually very expensive, which is fine for those who can afford it. But, I found one that’s significantly cheaper that I’d recommend checking out as well. And pretty much does the same thing at a lower price.
10. Protective Sleeves and Pouches
And lastly, let’s talk about fully protecting that iPad. I’m taking about something like Mosiso or a full sleeve that you can put your iPad inside of. Therefore, you won’t need to worry about the weather ruining your nice, glorious tablet. And all of its cool new accessories that you can fit inside the case as well. And also I’d recommend getting some sort of pencil pouch for your stylus. Which can be used to house more of those accessories as well.
And that was my Top 10 Accessories for the iPad 10. Anyway, my name is Cyrus. It’s spelled like “Cyrus,” pronounced like “See Rooster,” just take out the “ter.” Thank you very much for reading, and have a wonderful day! Peace.
