Happy holidays everyone. It’s my 25th birthday this year, so here is a list of the 25 best Christmas tech gifts for everyone with all budgets in mind. Affiliate links in the description.
Smart Watches
First, let’s talk about watches. More specifically, smart watches, that being the Apple Watch Series 11. I got my Series 11 this year and it has been incredible for tracking my sleep, workouts, and general health. I really like this device.
For those who would rather get the cheaper option, you can opt for the SE3, which is the most recent budget-minded Apple Watch released with just slightly larger bezels and only a few less features. Either one is a great option depending on your budget.
Laptops and Tablets
Following that, let’s talk about general devices and then go down to their accessories. In terms of affordability, the accessories would be your best bet for the following devices.
Firstly, a laptop, specifically the MacBook Air with M4 chip, which is seeing a significant sale this year for Black Friday. If you want something more powerful and newer, you can opt for the recently released M5 MacBook Pro, which also received a small discount in addition to being a more powerful laptop than the Air. Generally, I’d recommend aiming for a good laptop upgrade first if you’re looking at what to buy for your tech setup.
If you’re a student and or need a tablet upgrade, now is a good time to check out the Apple iPad, which is receiving its holiday time discount.
Essential Device Accessories
For your stocking stuffers, some accessories for the iPad, the Apple Pencil USBC, which is absolutely vital for the device to be used for note takingaking and a variety of other tasks. Another good stocking stuffer is a USBC charger, of which in this list there are two: a high wattage charger for your more powerheavy devices and then a smaller, more portable charger for your phone and smaller devices.
Some headphones as well, either over the ear or earbuds will do. I prefer earbuds for my general use and workouts, but I’ve seen many folks rock either or and enjoy them equally.
For your devices, new or old, you may need some extra storage. I’d recommend some sort of external SSD. I’ve used a variety of them, but either of these will work well and are super speedy at transferring and storing your files.
Protection for Students and Travelers
For students and travelers, I’d strongly recommend guarding your devices with some sort of case. Either a laptop case sleeve like the one on your screen or an accessory pouch. These have been lifesavers for me when I’m caught in inclement weather, and I absolutely cannot go anywhere without them. They’re great buys.
Gaming and Entertainment
Moving past these thematic tech gifts, let’s do a couple of gaming ideas. These are two different gaming consoles for good friends, relationships, and or your families. Either of these will go well depending on what games you run and will be great for everyone.
If you’re more into PC gaming, a microphone would be a great buy for you. I’m a huge fan of the Blue Yeti, and I’ve been using it for over 10 years. But there are also some really solid budget options as well.
To play music to relax to or to have fun, a good speaker ought to be a good buy. Either of these being great options, the choice just depending on how loud you want to go.
Health and Miscellaneous
In contrast to this pricey category, here are a couple of less expensive options: Electric toothbrushes. I’ve noticed a lot of people are getting back into buying electric toothbrushes and so many folks swear by their effectiveness. They’re not too expensive and are great gifts for those who could benefit from them.
The final three gifts are my miscellaneous section. Firstly, a power bank. For all of your devices that are battery powered, getting a power bank can be a lifesaver when you’re out of battery.
Some Air Tags for your items that are non-trackable, such as your wallet and backpack, can be incredibly helpful when they’re lost. These are super small devices that can be used with Apple’s Find My.
For the final device, in these colder months, a space heater can be especially useful to help you make sure you stay warm no matter what weather comes along. We use them a lot at certain places that I work, and they can be very effective at keeping your hands warm when it’s cold.
Those were all 25 of the best Christmas tech gifts. Every year I do a article like this for my birthday, and I think I covered a lot of bases with this one. My name is Cirrus. Thank you very much for reading and have a wonderful day. Peace.
